About Us

What is the MAOA Gallery ?

The MAOA Gallery is an innovative art project, based on an internet platform, simulating a museum gallery exhibiting ten one-person exhibitions selected by a curator.
Each space focuses on a single artist, with 10 to 15 selected works, resumé, statement from the curator, and the option to chat with the artist. The website integrates a sales space for the purchase of Israeli art, as well as a video room for events and artist talks.
All of the above are linked to a platform for the promotion and branding of Israeli art as high quality, unique, and financially valuable.

Our objective: Recognition and acceptance for Israeli art and artists in the world.
Our vision: The creation of an international network of cooperative projects, exhibitions and sales of works on display by MAOA Gallery artists.

New concepts such as sustainability, a green environment, social responsibility for cooperation, empowering all partners in the project, lie at the foundation of this business-social model. The project initiators, artists, collectors, connoisseurs of art and culture are all partners and all benefit from the project.

How will it work?
In Israel:
The MAOA Gallery will hold an annual exhibition in a “groovy” atmosphere, where works by the exhibiting artists will be on view for acquisition, and present the activities which took place over the past year.
This will create a tradition of a regular contemporary art happening for promotion and sales of Israeli art. A local sales set-up will enable potential purchasers, curators and art lovers to meet in the artists' studios.
Throughout the world:
An international network of partnerships will be in place with sales agents, local galleries, and PR firms specializing in art. An e-journal will be produced for direct mailing to target audiences in Israel and abroad.
